In addition to the LEGO Galadriel figure, the set also includes a LEGO Elrond minifigure (which is very similar to the previously-released Prologue Elrond LEGO figure) and a LEGO Witch-king Ringwraith minifigure. Galadriel is one scary lady when she’s evil! …she’s in crazy-evil transfixed mode! When Galadriel is tempted by the One Ring, her dark side comes out. The one character in this set that we can say beyond a doubt is a new LEGO minifigure is the first-ever LEGO Galadriel minifigure! While there was a 6″ Galadriel figure released by Toybiz in their Lord of the Rings action figure line about a decade ago, this is her first major toy release since! The beautiful lady of Lothlorien is finally getting her due in LEGO form, and she sure is gorgeous, isn’t she? I mean, except for when… I actually think this set is great because it includes three characters famous for their roles in Lord of the Rings, including one and a half (I’ll explain that in a second) who have never had LEGO minifigures before!

No, it’s not because of the buildable elements in this set–the LEGO environment that you can build is pretty minimal at best.

Of all the sets being released for the LEGO The Hobbit 2015 wave, my favorite one is actually the smallest and cheapest of the three.
